Hey all… I’m reposting a mobile browser based synth I’ve been working.. had a few breakthroughs this weekend 🙂

the idea with this one is that it takes your camera feed from your phone, samples a few spots, and converts that image data (hue, etc) and transforms it into music data, after running it through algorythms based on research into synesthesia, and a few other options.

I realised this weekend that, it didn’t have to just be camera data, and now you can upload gif animations to it… have had tonnes of fun with gifs from hexeosis.com and pislices.ca

And MIDI’s been implemented so the modulations can be sync’d with external clock and it send notes and cc values… so it could even be useful.
